Freek Louckx

Freek Louckx is Part-Time Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He teaches at the Faculty of Medecine and Pharmacy and at the Faculty of Law and Criminology Health Law and Social Security Law. His research is on the interface between constitutional and administrative law, social security law and health law (https://cris.vub.be/en/searchall.html?searchall=freek+louckx). Freek Louckx is “référendaire” at the Belgian Supreme Court (Cour de cassation).

Wilfried Rauws

Wilfried Rauws is Full Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Part-Time Professor at the University of Maastricht for labour law and comparative labour law. Wilfried Rauws is Deputy Judge in the Court of Appeal of Antwerp and member of the editorial board of the main Belgian legal journals such as the Rechtskundig Weekblad (Weekly Journal of Law), the Tijdschrift voor Privaatrecht (Journal of Private Law) and the Tijdschrift voor Sociaal Recht (Periodical for labour law and social security law).  Wilfried Rauws is the national expert for Belgium in the European Labour Law Network (ELLN). Kristof Salomez

Kristof Salomez is Part-Time Professor at law at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He teaches courses on ‘Social litigation and enforcement law’, ‘Health and safety at work’ and ‘Legal aspects of employment policy’. He published books and articles on labour and social security law, especially on dismissal law and Social litigation and enforcement law’ (https://cris.vub.be/en/searchall.html?searchall=salomez). Since 2000, he’s a member of the Bar, specialised in labour and social security law.

Guido Van Limberghen

Prof. Guido Van Limberghen is a Full Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and has been teaching for more than 30 years social security law (master of laws and advanced master of labour and social security law). He published mainly on old age and survivors’ pensions and on social security rights of the self-employed, migrant workers and, for a while, prisoners (https://cris.cumulus.vub.ac.be/portal/en/persons/guido-van-limberghen(e87f8c37-dff6-4456-83bf-4e67f3b17b40).html). He was head of the department of Labour and Social Security Law at the Faculty of Law and Criminology from 2001 till 2008 when he became dean of his faculty. He is a practising solicitor, specialised in labour and social security law since 1991.
